Reporting to the Director of Civil Engineering, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while honing both your technical and leadership skills in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead or support the complete lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects, from planning and design to detailed analysis.
Prepare and rigorously review design drawings, reports, and cost estimates, ensuring seamless coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
Conduct essential site investigations and inspections to inform design decisions and support construction activities.
Develop practical, cost-effective, and sustainable design solutions by applying sound engineering principles.
Effectively coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure efficient project delivery and success.
Ensure compliance with all applicable municipal, provincial, and national codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
Prepare detailed construction documents and actively participate in construction administration and field reviews.
Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing quality, efficiency, and innovation across the firm.
What We Are Looking For
As the ideal candidate you are a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer who is passionate about creating smart, sustainable infrastructure solutions. You will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (a Master’s degree is an asset) and be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEPEI. With 3–8 years of experience in civil design and project delivery—ideally within a consulting engineering environment—you have developed strong technical skills in site development, stormwater management, municipal servicing, and/or transportation design.
You’re proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and design tools related to Stormwater, Sanitary, and Water systems, and you have a solid understanding of municipal, provincial, and national design standards and regulations. Equally important, you bring clear communication, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary setting. You will be a part of an integrated design team, contributing to projects from concept through to construction. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Structural Engineer, you will drive design excellence across diverse building, infrastructure, and marine projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
Design & Analysis: Lead or actively support the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Documentation: Prepare and rigorously review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates in collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Mentorship & Oversight: Oversee, mentor, and provide technical feedback to technologists and junior engineers.
Evaluations: Conduct detailed structural assessments and evaluations of existing facilities.
Construction Administration: Actively participate in construction administration, including conducting site inspections and performing thorough shop drawing reviews.
Innovation: Apply sound engineering judgment to develop practical, innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Coordination: Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to ensure seamless, integrated project delivery.
Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with codes, standards (including the NBCC), and quality control procedures, actively contributing to continuous improvement within the firm.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with 3–8 years of progressive structural design experience, ideally within a consulting engineering environment. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a Master’s degree is an asset) and be registered—or immediately eligible for registration—as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers PEI (APEPEI).
This role requires strong technical expertise in the design and detailing of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber structures, along with a solid working knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada, CSA, and ASTM standards. You should be proficient with technical tools, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and structural analysis/design software such as STAAD Pro (or equivalent).

We’re looking for an Administrative & Project Support Coordinator to join our team in Charlottetown, PEI. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to support senior management, project teams, and overall office operations. It combines executive support, project documentation, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive support, including scheduling, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, follow-up tracking, and confidential correspondence.
Arrange domestic and international travel and prepare briefing materials.
Format, proofread, and prepare a wide range of documents, including reports, presentations, specifications, tenders, proposals, and contract materials.
Support proposal and tender submissions by assembling resumes, project sheets, corporate content, and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.
Assist project teams with meeting preparation, minutes, action lists, and follow-up tasks.
Provide general administrative and office support, including reception backup, meeting room bookings, supplies, mail processing, and staff event coordination.
Assist with expense reporting, timesheets, basic project accounting, payroll processing, and health and safety documentation.
Ensure all deliverables are accurate, professional, and completed on schedule.
Maintain document control, version tracking, templates, and quality management files.
Perform other administrative duties as required.
What You Bring
Post-secondary education in business administration (preferred).
2–5 years of administrative or executive support experience; experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services is an asset.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with document management or specification tools is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, accuracy, and formatting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with professionalism and sound judgment.
Demonstrated discretion with confidential information.
Strong organizational skills, initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment.
