A new 18,500 ft² building, built on a greenfield site, to accommodate a head office facility for a major insurance company. The building is primarily single storey, with a small mezzanine for mechanical and electrical services. This environmentally friendly facility utilized an ICF construction methodology and LED lighting, thereby increasing its sustainability. Full emergency power back-up is also provided by a remotely located unit. Coles undertook all aspects of the design, documentation and contract administration, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines.
