Seafood Express

The project involved the design of a new 17,500 ft² repair facility and administration building on two levels. 
The prime spaces included reception, dispatch area, boardroom, administration/management offices, wash and detailing bay, parts store room, eight maintenance bays and a separate area for specialty equipment. 
The upper level provided space for training spaces, lunch room, exercise area, offices, fitness and welfare spaces (including sleeping quarters) for staff and additional utility spaces. The site was designed to accommodate staff and client parking as well as space for both tractors, trailers, and miscellaneous ancillaries including gasoline tankage, propane storage, etc. The site consists of approximately 90,000 ft² of paved area. The design included state of the art energy efficient technologies including HVAC heat pumps, LED lighting, and controls. Construction was completed in spring of 2019.

Coles undertook all disciplines of the design, documentation and limited contract administration including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil.
