École François-Buote

This addition and renovation project followed several previous additions to this growing French community school. The additions at three locations around the school increased the area by 14,700 ft² with another +/- 10,000 ft² of space being renovated.

The addition included four classrooms, a science lab, a band room, a student area and support spaces. The gymnasium was expanded and renovated, and a fitness centre was added. Renovated areas included the administrative space, library, family living, science lab and various support spaces.

A comprehensive construction sequencing plan was established to allow safe construction of the work while the school continued operation.   

Coles undertook all disciplines of the design, documentation and contract administration including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines.
